The Books of Magic vol 2 74 was published with a July 2000 cover date. The issue saw the deaths of The Other, all the Other's imaginary friends (including Awn the Blink, Captain Wobbly, The Clown, and the mermaids), and the Manticorum as well as the destruction of Athanor House. During the issue Tim Hunter impersonated Molly O'Reilly and King Auberon impersonated Alpanu Lasas. Multiverse variants appeared as statues.
