about the dreams: the most consistent (and terrifying) dream i have is that i'm driving and when i hit the brakes the car slows down but never stops. so i'm trying and trying to stop the car and all i can do is slow down. and then i end up sliding through stop signs and red lights and things because i can't stop.
oh fuck i had the same dream as a child too!!
theres this ABSURDLY large hill with a road on it in my old hometown (why anyone would put a road on THAT kind of incline, who knows-)
and in this dream, my parents were never in the car and it would just be me and my siblings at the age where none of us knew how to drive
and all of us are desperately trying to use the brakes and it wouldn’t work and we’d just keep going, except we’d never actually crash-
we would just repeat it over and over and instead, we were just reliving the same scene and living in fear that we would crash a billion times- its absolutely awful!!!!!!
