Baby I - Poyomon

Baby II - Tokomon

Child - Patamon

Adult - Angemon

Perfect - Manticoremon

Ultimate - Lucemon: Satan Mode

Now for Patamon I picked Manticoremon and Lucemon: Satan Mode.

I really liked Manticoremon, I liked how Angemon would go from human to a beast, a demon beast digimon no less.

I was stuck when it came to the ultimate but then I remembered that Lucemon: Satan Mode existed, and I think it really works.

It was hard to find something that could flow from Manticoremon into something that was still beastly and evil, but I found the perfect one.

Plus, Manticoremon has the same little cloth piece that Seraphimon has, so I think it's a nice connection. I also like the beast factor, how the original line was very human once it got to adult and stayed that way.

Now though, it's more beast, more violent and turning into a demon beast instead of being a human archangel. Yet, no matter how much I love this line I am open to new ideas.

In my defense, Iruma’s had been on the bench due to my indecisiveness. I couldn’t decide on which line I like more.

I know people are going to question “why not Impmon”?

Well…Libera (blue dragon)->Raffire (fire)—>Quartz Quartz(bow). That all combines nicely into Sagittariusmon and Veemon a blue dragon is great for its rookie stage. Dragons are also commonly characterized as greedy. The top line represents his progression in power while the bottom one is more narrative. I will not elaborate further because it’s not more complicated than that for this specific line.

Iruma is described as “angelic” which could definitely have an impact on his partner’s evolution. Gargoylemon is holy but actually still a demon. That power is being restrained and used for good kinda like how Iruma is using the initially mindless version of Ali for good. It’s also very lanky like Ali. This transitions into the more corrupted Manticoremon who has had some dark influences and is known for its APPETITE.

Also both Gargoylemon and Manticoremon are known for being used by others. Gargoylemon is even referred to as a familar and Iruma happens to have a familar with white feathers.

The more bestial mega is essentially dragon Beezlemon(it’s literally an alternative mega to Beezlemon for its normal rookie). It also references the iconic Irumeanie with its musical ties and edgy music.

Onto the humanoid mega. Beezlemon is the Demon Lord of Gluttony. Need I say more? It’s a fallen angel and reigns over the Dark Area with the other Demon Lords.

Overall, a very gluttonous and greedy line which starts out rather innocent and not demonic at all. After a long term influence to the demonic the little innocent blue guy becomes a demon lord. That’s the idea behind the Irumean line. It also references both Ali and Eggy-chan in terms of appearance.

Honestly I do feel like choosing one line would be easier so…why not put it to a poll because I’m extremely indecisive about this. Dealing with two lines have been complicated as I’ve been writing an au.
