Watching a talk show and a woman is asking the talk show host (who is a man) why it is so difficult for her to find a man she connects with and be in a serious relationship with. He tells her that when she is out on a date with a man, she has to act like the "damsel in distress" and cannot let him know that she is strong and independent and successful. That apparently discourages a man because he realizes that she doesn't need him. That he doesn't have to save her. That he can't be her knight in shining armor or the hero that saves the day. That is bullshit. Guys need to realize that some woman are self-supporting and just looking for someone they can have a good time with, not a hero that is going to save them. Women are capable of saving themselves, if they need it at all. I don't know what sort of aura a woman gives off, if she seems weak or unfit to take care of herself, but women are strong and are capable of being their own god damn hero.
