hi! i don‘t know if i remember it wrong but i thought you had a post (or a couple) on harnesses that you would recommend but i can not find it.
i am looking for something that you can use on a day to day basis for an active dog that is often on the go for several hours a day and is sometimes hiking with its owner.
would you mind giving me some recommendations? i feel like you‘re the right person to ask.
You can view my dog gear tag to see all gear related discussions, including harnesses. Unfortunately I do not separate the harness discussions from discussion of other gear just for my own tagging convenience, but you might find it helpful!
What harness I would probably recommend for your situation that I recommend to damn near everybody that asks is the Howling Dog Alaska Distance Harness if you are in the Americas. (European Alternatives include the ManMat Long Distance Harness (they are practically identical and the companies are related.) or any of their half-back style harnesses like the Smart Harness). The Non-Stop Line Harness (there are a few variations so I've only included the link to the entirety of their harness collection) is also a great option imo, but I do not have personal experience with it on my dogs as my HDA ones have held up so well over the years there's just been no reason for me to purchase another walking harness).
The hard part with a lot of recommendation asks on here is that I don't really have experiences with a wider variety of harnesses and cannot really speak on many options, so if you're looking for more comprehensive reviews on a diversity of harnesses Dog Gear Review is great for that.
