the synths you encounter in fallout 4 â there arenât a lot of them that are actually sentient and programmed to feel emotions like a real human would. many are merely machines without the ability to conceptualise things like slavery or free will; theyâre very basic⌠well, robots. itâs unfair to call them servants because they donât know what servitude is: they simply are.
so I donât have a lot of sympathy for machines. absolutely the advanced ones should not be manufactured anymore and thatâs what carmen does â no more cruel parodies of humans, please, no more danses that hate themselves for being mechanical inside when they bleed like us, no more bodies than the commonwealth is already struggling with.
