Global warming: The debate
Picture the world as a giant microwave heating up of Americans and people all over the world. The reason: humans. Many Americans are right now debating whether global warming is real or fake. Leaders in the U.S. and abroad argue that global warming is a very real threat and some form of action should be taken to prevent the world ending in a massive heatwave.Al Gore and Arnold Schwarzenegger Eggar's plan shapes vice president and possible president-to- as of 2008 has just won an Oscar for his film and documentary called "An Inconvenient Truth". This documentary shows Americans how global warming, as Al Gore, is a real threat that should be guarded against now. He takes this campaign across the United States to convince people that they must begin to take action against global warming or if they will inevitably face ugly result: death by Global Warming.Furthermore have Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger presented a plan entitled " Hydrogen Highways "that would create cars with a reduction of greenhouse gases. Are they really prevent global warming? But let's just take a look at how serious a problem, Global Warming seems to be. For these two popular men, Global Warming seem like a terrible problem for them to preach to other people, but they follow what they preach? In 2006, Al Gore paid nearly $ 1,500 in electric bills each month (MSNBC). His spokesmen claim to do, of course, Al Gore up for it by spending even more money that goes around the country preaching about this terrible threat of global Warming. In addition, Schwarzenegger uses a private jet plane to get from place to place and a lot Some times it just means travel only from Sacramento to Santa Monica, California. At this hour long trip in his private jet, he drops more than 8.500 pounds of carbon dioxide gas in the air (Los Angeles Times). Of course, Governor offsetting their actions by planting more trees to combat the amount of carbon he puts into the air every time he flies. If global warming is a problem, however, it seems that one would need do little more than just plant a few trees and talk about the threat. One possible solution would be to reduce the size of your utility bills each month, would it? Another possible solution would be to fly less and find other alternative forms of transportation would it? What scientists think sometime scientists are divided on the issue of global warming, however. Some say yes, is global warming a serious threat that must be taken with utmost seriousness and caution.Others however, argue that global warming is more of a joke than the chain letter you receive in the mail. Some people actually say that the earth is just going through a cycle of change and reduce the potential amount of carbon they would do almost nothing to change the bike anyway. And perhaps this is just a bike, and it is a theory that must focus on more research and possibility.Hopefully in the near future, America and others that the debate on global warming will be able to come to a conclusion on whether there is actually something to be worried or not. Decide now will save everyone in the U.S. and other countries, not just a lot of heartache, but billions of dollars too!
