My writing anxiety is often a lot higher when I've taken a break. I expect to be able to jump right back in to at least a thousand words a day, but my brain is all rusty, and then I feel terrible and like I've let everyone/myself down somehow. So my main advice is to ease into it, and start with a really low goal, like 100 words a day, so you can loosen your muscles and feel like you've done something

6. someone you hate? hmm. idk i can’t think of anyone right now, which is crazy because i’ve been super salty for like three straight days.

1) is there a story you’re holding off on writing for some reason?

Yeah. Um… 3 of them. One is the next story in the Rebuild series because it is a dark thing and I spent much of the early part of this year depressed. I hope to tackle it soon. The 2nd one is a crossover fic that I’m working on, and really don’t want to write until I can get the outline just right for how it works between both canons. The last one is an original fic idea I’ve had for like two years, and I finally put some things down on paper for it while I was gone the last couple weeks. One of my writing goals back in January was to write that fic this year.
