losing  track  of  an  assailant  like  this  one  was  bad  news.   the  stillness  of  the  night  only  amplified  those  fears,    a  shaky  exhale  seemingly  echoing  throughout  the  streets.    where.     w-where  was  he ?!     how  could  they---     the  force  emitted  is  enough  to  knock  the  girl  off  her  feet,    with  only  a  seconds  time  to  look  back  at  the  man  who’d  all  but  crashed  into  her.    surprise  dawned  her  features,     fear  chilling  up  her  spine,     but  it’s  only  as  blood  splatters  into  sight  that  the  slow  realisation  hits  her  full  force.   speckles  of  red  so  much  like  the  paint  he  used  wets  her  cheeks,     horrified  eyes  widened  as  rohan  drops  behind  her  and  for  a  moment  time  stops.   her  body  remained  at  an  awkward  angle,     torso  twisted  as  she’s  unable  to  tear  her  gaze  from  the  sight  that  continued  to  replay  in  her  mind  until  the  girl  could  finally  grasp ------   

it  had  only  been  a  second.    a  single  second  for  the  sound  of  heavy  raindrops  to  flood  her  senses  again,  the  white  noise  that  held  her  in  dread  vanishing  as  feet  moved  on  their  own,     dropping  to  his  side  as  a  shaky  outcry  fought  against  the  blaring  rain.

something  they  don’t ？   yes ,   she  could  list  a  few  things  that  differed  between  herself  and  the  rest  of  the  gang ,   but  aside  from  the  obvious ,   the  mundane  and  previous  spoiled  life  of  hers ,   she  didn’t  find  anything  special.    while  true  that  she  held  herself  in  a  high  regard ,   despite  knowing  the  disgrace  her  existence  brought  to  that  of  her  kin ,   it  didn’t  come  without  insecurities  of  it’s  own ,   fears  and  guilt  that  she  wouldn’t  let  hold  her  down ,   still  crawling  in  the  back  of  her  mind.    she  was  braver ,   that  much  she  could  confidentially  say ,   but  still ,   in  compassion  to  them  ？    just  what  did  rohan  see  in  her ,    that  the  girl  herself  could  not.   trish  had  stared  at  him  with  uncertain  awe  for  long  enough ,   and  so  she  tilts  her  chin ,   a  silent  scoff  of  a  laugh  lingering  at  her  lips ,   innocently  blunt  and  harsh  with  her  teasing ----------
