MOVIE REVIEW | Joker 2019 I had zero intentions to watch this movie. But I heard good things about it. Okay. Definitely, not my cup of milk tea. However, I agree this movie was excellently made. Joaquin Phoenix did an amazing performance. He did a great job creating this version of the Joker. If you're looking for action, this isn't it. But if you are intrigued into an alternate "comic book" and character origins, this movie plays much in the fashion of the Amazon Prime's The Boys. There is also a small social cultural element in the movie that reflects our current events. Which is why I went out to see it. Overall, personally I did not care too much for this movie but I know there is an acquired taste for it. I guess my best description of this movie is it's a rehash of American Psycho...
