chinese resources
hello everyone!
I’m on my way to learn chinese
And I’ve been doing researches for days !looking for good ressources to learn chinese(mandarin) that I like(wich is I think the hardest)
I found plenty of them ,I thought it could be usefull for you aswell so here 's the one I prefer:
(note that there’s no order in these lists)
videos
chinesefor us: I reallly like this one it also has a HSK1 preparation video series,it covers HSK1 characters as well as radicals
yoyochinese: (a website is also available if you don’t like learning through lstening”,is aswell really complete,I saw that the tone and pinyin series have been really praised and recommended
learnchinesewithlitao:to me this one s more formal, but as complete as the previous ones (it depends on your tastes) I’ll personally lean the characters with this channel and for the rest of the basic i will do it with chinese for us(even if this channel also has pinyin,tones...)
zerotohero:I’d recommend this channel for grammar
fluentu:good ressourve of different types of videos to learn(not only chinese)
captionpop:is a free alternative to fluentu
websites
learnchinezees:this website review and countain all the characters
arch chinese:same concept as chinezees but in even more detailled(can be kind of hard at first sight so i recommend to more advanced learners,or at least once you know some charactes, don’t learn them with that)
easy mandarin:i personally found it good to learn tones
Iwillteachualanguage
hanzicraft:list more than 8000 characters form the most to the less used
hanzi grids: let’s you create custom chinese charcaters worksheets and grid paper templates that you can download and print out for handwriting practice
zhongwen chinese resource dictionary:is a revolution for me,basically is something you need to dowloa on your computer it’s a sort of “add-on” to your browser taht will, everytime you pass your mouse on a chinese character it’ll give you the meaning, how to pronounce it and how to use it
Hackingchinese:helped me to find new ressources of any type,it also gives really good advices so i highly recommend it to people who are looking for any kind of ressources
from this website I found “teach yourself mandarin”(it gives you lesson on pinyin and tones) but the bestbis that at the end there ‘s a lisy with around 50 really usefull ressources(and not only for beginners) (thanks to this I found most of the websites i listed there)
[i give you the link ->
https://teachyourselfmandarin.wordpress.com
to memorise vocab I recommend memrise and padlet
Apps
hellochinese and lingodeer:2 wonderful apps to learn
naver chinese- english dictionarry:it’sa life saver because it,bot only gives you the meaning of the word but it gives you ,the pronounciation,an exemple xith this word in a sentence and videos or text where this word is used and each way to use it
pleco:dictionary
chinese skrittter:to practice wirtting
and that was for my favorite ressources!

Homework in the evening
Writing Chinese characters is so much fun when you have free reign of the paper and can write as big as you want.
When you have to write it small and normally it’s not so fun bc then it’s hard to get all those strokes in there.
China you have beautiful characters but it’s kind of a pain in the ass.
我喜欢 肖战
I like Xiao Zhan
我不喜欢金光瑶
I do not like Jin Guangyao

ITS MIDNIGHT
Hey Chinese. Why do you have such a long ass word for “dress”.
So I’ve been having a major crush on Bai Yu 百宇 ( I mean have you guys seen him and Zhu Yi Long in Guardian!). I watched the drama “Suddenly This Summer 匆而今夏”, which stars Bai Yu。 And I really like the song, “10:30 in Los Angeles (洛衫矶的十点半)”; I thought of making a vocab list for the song. One of things I like about this song is that except for little bits here and there, I can understand a large part of it by myself. You guys can give the song a listen here.

The song uses a noun 15. 无声 wu2 sheng1 (adj) silent 16. 表达 biao3 da2 (v) express, to convey 17. 盯 ding1 (v) to stare at 18. 秒针 miao3 zhen1 (n) second hand of a watch/clock.. 19. 嘀嗒 di1 da1 (onomatopoeia) ticking 20. 介意 jie1 yi1 (v) to take offence, to mind (usually negative) 21. 彼此 bi3 ci3 (pronoun) each other 22. 假装 jia3 zhuang1 (v) pretend 23. 从此 cong2 ci3 (adv) from now on 24. 埋 mai2 (v) to bury
