INSPIRE Awards MANAK (inspireawards-dst.gov.in) is the flagship program of the Department of Science and Technology (DST), GoI for school students (class 6th to 10th) to promote innovative thinking among them. The program is executed jointly by DST and National Innovation Foundation-India (NIF). Under the program, beginning with 10 lakh ideas every year, the best 1 lakh are provided Rs 10000/- and these then get shortlisted at District, State and finally at National level. The students shortlisted for the National level are provided mentoring on ideation, problem solving, design consideration etc in a reputed institution where experts interact with them providing feedback on their ideas.
For the year 2020-21, 7 students from Tripura have qualified for the National level event and a mentoring session has been planned on April 28, 2022 at the conference hall, SCERT Tripura.
The 7 were:

2. Natural Cooling Structure For Fruit And Vegetables Preservation, Madhurima Das, SISHU BIHAR H/S SCHOOL

4. Diagram Of Covid19 Test Camera, Purba De, GOLDEN VALLEY H. S. SCHOOL, Kalacherra
5. Temperature Controlled PPE Kit, Sakil Saha, JAGATPUR HIGH SCHOOL, Mohanpur
6. Biodegradable Waste Management of Fish Market and Making Fertiliser, Biswajit Sarkar, SRIRAMPUR SURYAMONI MEMORIAL H. S. SCHOOL
7. Waste Water Bottles As Insulator For Roof And Solar Water Heater, PRIYANKA BHATTACHARJEE, UDAIPUR ENG. MEDIUM H.S, Matarbari
