Sept 5: After working on Her for 8 days, She's finally complete. I worked with a House member to come up with the hieroglyphics that actually MEAN something and aren't just random symbols. I painted them on, very carefully. 10+ hours of work, blood, sweat, and tears, lots of love and devotion, I'm finally happy with how She's come out. Dua Sekhmet!

Day 6 of fixing the Sekhmet statue. I painted the base, and covered Her in a wash of black paint.
Final steps will be getting the hieroglyphics for the back and sides and seal the whole thing.
An abstract piece I did for Mom (Sekhmet). It was lovely spending time with Her and being able to express Her energy and love through art. I'll be doing more of these types for other Names soon!

Day 5 of fixing the Sekhmet statue. I filled in a bunch of the air bubble holes.
Finished filling in the base.
Day 6 will be starting to paint.
