Day 6 of fixing the Sekhmet statue. I painted the base, and covered Her in a wash of black paint.
Final steps will be getting the hieroglyphics for the back and sides and seal the whole thing.

Day 4 of fixing the Sekhmet statue. I am working on fixing the crooked base.
I bought a Mom statue and She came the other day, but instead of celebrating Her arrival, I was disappointed with the statue. She was spray painted (very poorly), and was very sharp in areas, from not being sanded after casting. I was just so sad. After talking with the seller and not being able to come to an agreement, I decided to try and fix this one. It's been a couple of days of waiting and work (scrubbing, washing, and sanding) but it's finally paid off. I'm not sure She's finished yet, I might be adding details, but here She is right now.
