Be Whole Again//Loki and Alex

Lukas examined the rusted dagger hidden within the clear glass box. It was on the side of the room, certainly not the main attraction--that was the Viking Ship somehow situated in the middle of the room, despite its size--but something drew him to it. It was like this every time he came into the Viking Ship Museum. Sure, it was mostly ships and the tools with which to build them, but there was other items that also belonged to the Vikings scattered through out.Â
But this dagger always caught his eye, every time.Â
The staff of the museum all knew him by name, since he came in here so often, paying entry every time, so they liked him. Even if he was usually only here to hide from the cops or seem like a good like scholar, even if he had talked them out of arresting him, again. Curse his nature of wanting to stick around to see the outcome of his little âpranksâ.Â
He paused when there was a commotion on the other side of the ship, luckily blocking his view of the entrance. Without going to see what it was about, he quickly went over and slipped down hall and into the emergency exit, which miraculously didnât sound the alarm. It never did. He was fairly sure it was the cops, after all, he did just talk his way out of arrest, and it was possible that they changed their mind or wanted to come question him again.Â
                      That was never fun.Â
Once he was outside in the chilly air, he slowed down, joining the small crowd of people walking down the street as he started to make his way back to his flat. He really should get started on that paper he was supposed to be working on. He really shouldâve thought about how many papers he was going to have to write when he was deciding on a career, it was like he never left college.Â
