I think he's definitely one to lead by example. he really stresses to his children the significance of treating others with respect/treat others how you want to be treated (I say this because of his patience, the way he approaches people who don't even like him to hear them out. he's experienced firsthand the pros and cons of this practice and there are a lot of good things that come from this sort of behavior so of course, he wants his children to follow that same path).

I think he'd try to practice good traits the most despite his species and the stereotype attached, he'd want to give his children a father figure that he didn't really have — like he went into this fatherhood thing blind. no real example to go off of, just being himself and using his best judgment that he uses — that he's really only known on his own. it's by no means perfect, but from how far he's gotten and what he's learned, he doesn't think it's been too bad. would definitely encourage playing, he never had someone to play with so ASDF IMAGINE TWINS - JACKPOT. YOU HAVE A FRIEND ALREADY. FROM THE START! HOW RICH IS THAT!? but he's not above not playing with his children, too. and because he's — probably, in ways, immature (seeing as he sees himself as a kid, rip) it only encourages and enhances that immature trait in his children. prepare for trouble, make it double.

Celine is a fairy who views humans as similar to toys. She likes to "play" with the so-to-speak. She's not particularly evil, but she does like to test people and learn about them. She attends school (high school or university depending on the verse) to explore their world.

Who is the most affectionate? I want to say Satan is at first, bc. cat. lots of pets.  BUT once Scarlet is completely comfortable around him, she will get SO much more affectionate.  When she’s with someone, she likes to always be in some sort of contact with them to reassure herself that... this is real, they’re actually there, and they aren’t leaving or going anywhere.  It’s a security thing.

Who initiates the handholding? Probably Scarlet - on accident.  I can see them out on a date at like a museum and she just grabs his hand to tug him towards something she wants a closer look at and just... kinda forget to let go. BVDRFDE

Who worries more for the other? Satan most likely, ESPECIALLY because her lack of care about her own personal safety really drops when she’s borderline immortal, like in her demon verse.  It’s... bad.  Legitimately doesn’t care if someone bites her arm off or mauls her because it’ll grow back, no big deal.  Almost a complete lack of self preservation, total apathy for her own safety.  As long as she isn’t at risk of dying, she doesn’t really care about how much damage she takes.  She will assure him that she can handle it - and to be fair, she can - but it’s like she doesn’t completely realize that she doesn’t HAVE to deal with that, just because she physically can.  In these sorts of verses, it usually takes a lot of fretting and bickering at her to get her to give a single ounce of a shit about herself, and then she’s just... bewildered that someone - anyone - actually cares.

Who is more likely to ask for help? At this point in time, I want to say they’re both too stubborn for that gftrgbgfr

Who is the one always losing the keys? I.. honestly don’t know?  The both of them are pretty reliable and on top of their shit.  

Who leaves little love notes for the other? They both do!  Though it may be more appropriate to call them poems than letters.  Scarlet’s are also usually accompanied by a little drawing.

Who can’t sleep unless the other is there? Scarlet.  She already has terrible insomnia, and after she falls asleep listening to Satan’s heartbeat for the first time while cuddling, she can barely sleep otherwise.

Who is more likely to propose to the other? That... is a really good question and I have no idea BFDEFV

Who introduced the other to their family first? Satan!  On one hand it’s pretty much unavoidable to not run into at least one of his brothers if he’s taking Scarlet up to his room, but on the other hand... Scarlet’s mother and brother are both in the Celestial Realm, so it’s harder to meet them, and she doesn’t consider Benjamin to be family so no way he’ll be meeting him.

Who is more likely to play with the other’s hair? Satan, if petting counts GFBNFBVD

Who makes sure the other has meals/stays hydrated? Scarlet.  In her demon verse, she survives solely on blood.  She can consume other food and drink, but it serves no nutritional value, so there’s really no need for her to fuss over such things.  Satan, to my knowledge, does need to eat actual food.  So she would make sure he eats well.  She actually really likes to cook and bake, so she would most likely get in the habit of making his lunch for him for when he goes to school.

Who is more likely to stand up to anyone for the other? I want to say Satan would do so more often at first.  It’s not because Scarlet doesn’t care at all; Satan is more than capable of handling his own.  But when Scarlet gets attached?  She gets INCREDIBLY protective of her loved ones, even when they’re capable of defending themselves, or even when they’re stronger than her.  The loss of her mother and brother plagues her, it haunts her that she couldn’t do anything to keep them alive.  So when there’s something or someone that so much as looks at an individual she’s managed to grow close towards, she would go to war for them.  The only situation where she wouldn’t stand up for her loved one is if it would make the situation worse for them, as she doesn’t care if she herself gets hurt in the process. 

Who is the most likely to prepare a surprise for the other? I think they both would, but Satan would have more resources to easily prepare them, so he may do so more often.

Who makes the other pinky promise not to do certain things? Scarlet 100%.  Promises are VERY IMPORTANT to the fae and she would definitely make the promise “more significant” with a pinky promise, which may or may not have some sort of spell attached to make the promise like a contract.  Like I said, the fae don’t fuck around when it comes to promises.

EMBROIDERED CURTAINS: morning routines, trying to be neat and tidy but failing, thin white shirts left on the floor, crunchy apples on long walks, pressing flowers in book and forgetting about them, lots of spices and herbs.

CHIPPED TEACUPS: messy hair, walking barefoot through the forest, charming smiles, old family recipes and plants all over the house, graceful dancing and jumping on beds.

WORN-OUT NOTEBOOKS: paint-stained fingers, candy lover, leaving prints on mud, singing softly in the morning, drawing on mirrors, keeping secrets and dancing with trees, picking berries from dewy bushes.

MISMATCHED SOCKS: creative spirit, holding hands at night, whispering sweet words to small creatures in the woods, piles of books spread all over the room, cozy overalls and warm jumpers, taking a long walk and looking for faes after the sun sets.

ODD BUTTON: pockets full of wonders, kitchen covered in flour, falling in love with nature, the smell of wildflowers, honey and cinnamon, wax seals and mischievous eyes, playing hide and seek during rainstorms.

FLOWER GARLANDS: playful breeze in the afternoon, sunlight shining through the trees, skipping happily over puddles, mugs and plates abandoned on a desk, oversized jackets and colourful marbles, writing poetry on napkins.
