I just thought of this when I was talking about Smash’s remixes of Monster Dance and Bloody Tears together with @writingwitherebus the other day.  But I showed him Malmsteen’s “Arpeggios From Hell” after personally knowing of it for a few years, mentioning the fact it sounded like “Dwelling of Doom” from Simon’s Quest, and sometime there, I mentioned “Sign of the Cross” fitting in retro Castlevania if they chiptuned a decent portion of it because of Castlevania’s overall styles and motifs.  And this got me thinking... I would not honestly be shocked if they used “Castlevania: Arpeggios From Hell”, or “Castlevania: Sign Of The Cross” as draft titles, or name ideas after Symphony of the Night because of how much Metal, Hard Rock, and Symphonic music influenced the series to begin with.  But I feel like Iron Maiden or Malmsteen would like a word about those particular ideas....
