I...highly recommend you stand by that decision. This was a terrible mistake I made in the heat of finishing my thesis and it's been ruining my life. I can talk you out of it easily if you're ever tempted.

CALLIE TORRES. I have loved her from the start. And I'm fairly sure she's the reason I'm still watching. It didn't seem random! I thought it was super important. I must have been just getting into tumblr right around when that episode aired, because I swear there were gifs everywhere of her focusing on that and Meredith dealing with things and like sitting her on a log or something.

You say this and all I can think about is how much you enjoyed your masters defense, standing in front of those people and teaching them about your research.
You're right, you're right, you're so right. Like, I was mostly arguing with them gently redirecting their understandings of my work rather than actually teaching, but the amount I was terrified and the amount I actually loved it should really be reasons for hope about this teaching business.
