Welcome to a world possessed by the grandeur things in life. A world that sparkles itâs gilded gold to hide the ugliness underneath it all. It is here, hidden somewhere, that we find one such instance of someone poking their nose in places it should probably never have been poked.Â
It is that same instance that brings together a meeting that normally...Wouldnât have happened.Â
The Illuminati was a well hidden organization, yes. But a nose knows, and Lucifer was a rotting demon king. If not forth his magic, then by the smell of decay and death lingering. Given that Summerâs nose could scent magic, given itâs strong enough, itâd taken her a couple of months to discern where in the hell the airship had been. Even more, it took a happenstance refueling to follow the moving scent late at night, and worm her way through.Â
But ah, the Illuminati were no fools. They were skilled in catching even the most sneaky of night-time assailants. Luckily, for the Chimera, they didnât question too much about her appearance. Simply...Stuffed her in a room until sheâd either break out, rot to death, or until they let her out. And, granted the area, it didnât look like sheâd get out of the room anytime soon.Â
Brown ears swiveled every now and then, alert and, in the very rare position, completely upright on the top of her head. It was hard to hear anything, much less smell anything, in this specific room in general.Â
I wonder if theyâre clucking with their leader about what to do. This place reeks of demons of so many different elements that Iâd swear Satan himself was here.Â
The faint clack of rather âimportant soundingâ boots stepped with lighter feet. Slowly, but surely, growing louder and louder. The female moved herself away from the door...
Maybe if I just explain I was curious, theyâll let me out. This isnât a normal military base-thingy. I donât know whatâs going on here...But that smell... Whomever it is, theyâre powerful. How can I not check? Thereâs been so much excitement lately...Â
Clicking her tongue, her eye glanced at the door.Â
Hold on... I think that smell is headed this way, too.Â
