Do you think Alec was overthinking the whole job offer vs staying with Magnus and that's why he didn't noticed slash actually believed Magnus wasn't that sad not being the HW anymore? Also is it just me or the editing cut some breathing time in malec's conversations? Like some half seconds or so...
I donāt really agree that Alec didnāt notice that Magnus was sad about his position. Thereās a beat after Magnus walks away from the drinks cart where Alec is clearly skeptical, but without calling Magnus a liar, whatās he going to say?Ā āYeah, babe, that was all bullshit, let me tell you how you feel.ā
Once heād spoken to Catarina, however, Alec at least had a basis for starting to challenge Magnusās claim of being pleased other than Alecās bullshit detector pinging.
Iām not entirely sure about your last questionāare you saying the editing allowed for some more breathing time? Because I agree, it did, and this was a thing they told us was going to happen aroundā¦NYCC or so? That the scenes this season were going to be longer, not so much jumping around from scene to scene.
Frankly, it may have been the most exciting news to come out of NYCC after Javiās casting.
