“Hm? Y’didn’t have too Hau. I would’ve been fine if you had started eating on your own.”

Guzma wasn’t exactly familiar with this kid, but he’d seen him around enough to know he lived here and his grunts were constantly harassing him at every chance. 

He didn’t know his name, but maybe it was time he found out. After all, he seemed to show promise as a pokemon trainer; he usually gave the grunts a run for their money. Or maybe it was because they were all actually terrible. 

Either way.

“well, i don’t know about the work bit, but i can help you take care of your pokemon” hau smiled at his little friend. “i might even be able to help you with the clothing dilemma” he opened the bag he was holding and pulled out a doll dressed in surfer gear. “had to get it for sis. Might fit you, you know”

“You sure you can handle it?” The two he was most worried about were Bonnie and Vales, who were far more attached to Tsunami and might not adapt well to someone else trying to take care of them. Brook and Cordelia...not so much.

Yet looking at the options as they were presented to help by Hau. Tsunami would shrug his shoulders. “Well even if it’s fake doll-clothes it might be better than the remnants of my favorite t-shirt. Hand em’ over.”

He had directed Po initially to head inside the cabin to see if there was anything that could be found in the organized mess that Tsunami called his home. It’s just a shame, that this choice ended up being a downfall later when it took the tiny man nearly ten minutes to get out to where he heard Hau. 

“Hey this might not exactly be a good time.” Arceus, even sitting on top of Po it still took a lot of effort for Tsunami to look up at the teenager.

“Hey kiddo, have you heard of a sanctuary for water pokemon anywhere around here?” Just his luck, don’t visit your home country in a few years...ish and everything looks completely different. Goodness knows if he couldn’t find his way back home before dinnertime his parents would feed him to the Sharpedo.
