Makrov and the Cats 

With no organic pet of his own, Max brought his robot, Makrov. He is a hit, especially with the more curious of the pet bunch, the cats.

Makrov: *flies around*

Adrien: It amazes me that you built that yourself, Max. You sure have a kn-kn-kn-knack for robotics.

Marinette: *stroking Enzo* Yeah. What else can Makrov do?

Enzo: *watches Makrov fly around*

Max: A lot of things. I’m upgrading him as often as possible to make sure he’s as advance as possible

Enzo: *jumps up at Makrov*

Marinette: *gasp* Enzo!

Milo: * leaps from his spot to try and catch Makrov*

Nino: Milo! No!

Guinevere: *meow* *lunges at Makrov*

Alya: Guinevere! Stop that!

Makrov: *floating just out of the cats’ reach* Danger! Danger! This unit is under attack!

Guinevere: *HISS*

Enzo: *MWRAWR!*

Max: *chuckles* Don’t worry, guys. Makrov is tough enough to handle a little kitty-play-time

Marinette: *phew* That’s a relief.

This time we are back with Makrov. A little snippet when he was little kid because his family means a lot ot him. Especially his mother who was the bearer of the tattoo before him.  The prompts have been Abush and “This didn’t stop you before” for October 4th  Rating G 

With a broad grin and laughing Makrov ran to his mother. In his small mind of a five-year-old he would manage to jump at her from ambush and cuddle her. "Where is my little darling," she asked aloud and pretended not to hear him as she entered the living room. Makrov ran towards her from the hallway but at the last moment she turned around and caught him. She laughed as she picked him up and saw the little pouty face. "Don't be angry, you'll get over it one day." "You always know," he complained. "That hasn't stopped you before." "That's right!" "Makrov! Shall we go to the bees?" cried his father from the porch. With big eyes he looked at his mother. "Go on, but be back for dinner." "I promise!" He wriggled out of her hug and was already running out just to turn back and run back. "Love you," he said and hugged his mother one last time before finally disappearing into the garden. "I love you too, my darling."

We are with Odette and Makrov again, before the story starts.  The prompts were “Craft” and “I told you so” for October 11

Odette watched with skepticism as Makrov put on the protective clothing. "Are you sure this is enough?" He just laughed and shook his head. "I've been doing this since I could walk. It is a craft, not witchcraft. And it will be worth it." Again she looked out into the garden of Makrov's childhood home. She knew that they were beekeepers, but once she had witnessed what an allergy to bees can cause, she had become cautious. "I don't know." "Which one of us is the paramedic?" He gave her a cheeky grin and put the headgear on. "That won't help you if you get stung." "I don't have allergies, I'll be fine." "Then why the protective gear? "Because I don't like pain and bees die when they sting people. Protection for both sides." Slowly, Odette began to see the light, but she kept her distance, skeptical. Never in her life did she expect how the bees would react to him. It was curiosity? Or even a welcome? At least it looked like something like that. "They're not doing anything." "I told you so." She could see his laugh more than she could hear it. Her skepticism turned to fascination as she saw him at the hives. Slowly she understood why it was so important to him. It wasn't just because his father was sick and someone had to take care of them. Makrov also did it because he loved it. Inside, Odette prepared herself for the fact that she would have to live with the idea of owning a beehive one day.
