A neighbour of mine was going to mow over her violets, so I “persuaded” her to let me now her lawn in exchange for deadheading the violets, she agreed; I was also able to dig a few out of her garden to plant at home. These will be primarily used for teas and bath mixtures; I’ll start using the leaves from the ones I brought home after they’ve had a chance to establish their roots.
