not petty at all, changing someone's work for a specific pairing is so not done, and this is almost worse imo. this was actually meant and written for stalka, if you use it for any other pairing, it should be hiccstrid (or at least a CANON paring)
Yeah, at least keep it within the canon story and for Stoick’s SON, and his intended future-daughter-in-law. Personally I think the song is Stalka’s thing only, but I’ve seen the song or dance being integrated in Hiccstrid and the result was cute or heartwarming, almost fitting. I don’t mind it if it’s with them, the canon pairing: the son of the couple and the girl with Stoick’s full approval. Not some hacked up thing that doesn’t even exist...it feels wrong. :/ they want to take that away from the actual thing. Urgh. >.>;

Sounds like a plan! I'm going through that process now too. I don't like college and the people their just make me uncomfortable. I just gotta accept the fact that I'm so much happier without them even though social convention says I shouldn't be.
I took a semester in another college when I was 17 and I didn't like most of the people there... So I know what you mean. Sometimes you just don't get the right crowd, it depends.
