These reusable makeup pads are made of 100% organic cotton and feature a traditional Japanese weave. They are super gentle on the skin and they get increasingly soft with use while also being extra durable. Perfect for zero-waste skincare and beauty routines!

Cotton Makeup Pads
To remove my makeup/clean my face at the end of the day I use the cheap disposable cotton pads from the dollar store. I felt bad using a full one each night (so much waste!) so I cut them in half to be more "eco-friendly". But I found this free pattern to make my own crocheted makeup pads! And lucky for me, I had some leftover cotton yarn!
It was really tough (and tight!) crocheting the first round. So keep your 4 foundation chains very loose!
I only made 2 because I was not sure if I would like them. They are quite a hassle to wash and dry though! I will have to make lots more before I can stop buying disposable ones. Until then I will rotate them, so I feel a little better about being green.
Happy crocheting!
