You know all those dramatic transformation photos flying through your social media newsfeed—advertising a 30 pound loss in 30 days? That’s NOT me. If 30 pounds came off me in 30 days, I would be bones and organs. Funny not funny. 🌱 The change is subtle each month. I’m doing a slow cut so I can add lean muscle to my shoulders and glutes before my March 2020 bikini competition. I am in no hurry to drop weight. I’m learning more and more about the complex biochemical process of healthily releasing body fat, maintaining healthy hormone and glucose levels. I plan to feel AMAZING right up to peak week. 🌱 After my last prep in 2015, I stopped doing two hours of cardio as my chosen approach to lean out.
