WELLS COULDN’T DENY he’d been enamored with raven reyes since she’d hurtled to earth in a machine she’d built herself almost purely out of spite and determination. a star burning so bright you had to look away or you’d burn up. several years now since those first days on the ground , the same burning star staring at him with something like playful adoration lighting her features , he can’t help but admit it’d be a pretty good way to go.
large hands go to rest on her hips , fingers twitching with the urge to grip her and pull her close. he doesn’t though , letting her take the reins as he so often offers. he’s taken them before , when nightmares need to be kissed away and reassurances need to be uttered between soft moans , but her smile practically RADIATES mischief and he knows she’ll want to take the lead and enjoy toying with him. he’ll definitely enjoy it too.
