This MAKERS video hits particularly close to home, as it features Muriel Fox- co-founder of NOW (National Organization for Women - fighting for women's rights), who was the first woman to break into the male-dominated world of PR.  

We can't imagine this industry without all of the amazing and talented women who lead it today.

She went from being told that they didn't hire women in Public Relations by the executive VP at Carl Byoir & Associates (the largest PR firm at the time), to becoming an executive VP at the agency, and her work done at NOW has allowed us women today so many freedoms and rights- including the credit industry, affirmative action, and in housing.
