Drawing Usagi with a bit of inspiration from a bunch of Leosagi/leoichi art (definitely @gothiclynovi ‘s because their art is so well done and beautiful go check it out) because I know next to nothing on him but Pinterest has consumed me into the ship.
On a slightly separate note, I wanted to draw Kip’s reaction to him because while she looks like a cheery little turtle she’s actually not very trusting. It took A LOT to get to the strong relationship she shares with her family. The amount of trust she puts into someone is heavily based on how well she knows them and a short analysis of their threat level. From what art I’ve seen from other artists, Raph is very cautious around him so I would guess Usagi’s “threat level” is quite high so Kip is very protective of Leo who is a silly little goober.
I also love @mishacakes who has Leo paired with their oc (it’s an oc right?) Tomiko so what exactly I deem Leo’s sexuality to be is nonexistent becuase I honestly do not care. If bluebell is happy, that’s cool w me.
