"Imagine you and me"
This is the first time I get so inspired in writing my views regarding a certain movie. And to be honest, I am not really a fan of Filipino movies because every time I was watching them, there were a lot of questions hanging in the air. And even before they ended, I already knew what would happen. Itās really easy to surmise the flow or concept of filipino movies. Only few I was satisfied to watch.
And one of them is the āImagine you and meā starring Maine Mendoza and Alden Richards.
So, I donāt want to give spoilers to those who havenāt watch it. But if youāre a fan of AlDub or MaineChard or you just want a good-vibe movie, I strongly recommend this. My friend and I were smiling all throughout the time after watching it ššš, and it seems like we got a movie hang-over.
Well, it was a typical filipino love story, shot in Como, Italy⦠But, with a twist.
Gara is our usual happy, fun, ākalogā, and kind girl who met the over brooding, problematic, grumpy Andrew (trivia:Andrew means Manly š). So, what to expect when they met? Itās for you to find out⦠Just think of a puzzle putting on together. At first, it doesnāt make sense, but then everything will fit until it gives you a clear picture of it. In yhe beginning, I had a lot of questions, since itās my nature to criticise the movies I watch⦠To āokrayā in other word. But then, all my questions were answered. It never left us hanging.
It was also a part āRomeo and Juliet.ā Think of their story. Honestly, it really surprised us when it happened. For a whole minute we were just gaping like what the heck! Was it really happening? Until we got to the ending part⦠Never miss that part. We have big eyes, and it got bigger on that part. ššā¤ā¤ā¤
Before, I was hesitating in watching it because I was so disappointed when I watched their first movie. It didnāt give me the satisfaction and Maineās character was like a spoiled-rich kid who belittled everyone. It bothered me when she said 'my mom is beautiful unlike your Auntā when she and Alden were fighting over her father and his Auntās relationship. And she didnāt even say sorry for saying it at the end of it. :( Anyway, their movie āImagine you and meā is 100% satisfying. There would be drama but more on 'kiligā and good vibes. I hope they will have another movie :)
Additional: Alden and Maineās smiles are too genuine like they were not acting at all. (I guess, they are really not acting. Everything is true ā¤ā¤ā¤)
