I'm sorry that happened. and this can sound inconsiderate but people do need to ask Him to take over in a situation, as often as you can. its not about "so I deserved this or that" but it's having an intimate relationship with Him. otherwise, the rest of your experience is out of his hands. i have some trauma linked to christianity (not the religion itself, but the people in my life who used religion against me) and i was wondering ur thoughts on those who use Him as an excuse for abuse? is there anything in christianity that like.. calls those people out? because i feel like abusers linked to religion often use their Him as a reason/excuse
sorry you had to experience that. its understandable. like from my last reply, even if they're good enough at hiding it theyll be punished unless they repent (assuming they really are Christian) if they dont, they'll suffer worse deaths than unbelievers. Even if they act sorry in front of men, God knows people's hearts and minds so we can rest assure He will punish or discipline those who deserve it.
were supposed to correct anyone in the body of a Christ. The sad thing is how so many have been good at hiding it, especially now. so clearly theyre not living out of love.
Not only are they hurting people, they've turned into bad testimonies, and you can see by how it's turned more people away from God.
Im not trying to scare you, in fact I say this out of love because I know its strange to rely on someone you've never seen. But trust me, as someone who's also been through abuse and was molested, He will free you, but seek Yeshua first before anything.
I know you're still tormented by that experience, Yeshua can heal whatever trauma you have even if it's impossible by human standards. BUT if you only want to go to God to be free of that, and not for Jesus, youre better off not listening to the Gospel at all because most people will try to find happiness in the wrong things and you'll end up in a more confusing situation than before.
Repent and surrender to Christ, confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, that He died for your sins and was raised from the dead. there's no shortcut to blessings and healing. He wants your heart first, an intimate relationship like that of a father and child.
