" I am glad you asked. You see, the age of 12 was an innocent time for Me. I was still human, seeing as How I wasn't turned until I was 26. I remember the age of 12, such innocence I had. But I was full of war & Revenge. The war in Romania between My Kingdoms and the Turks waged on. And though My Father had taught me to wield a sword and fight. I was always kept inside the Castle. There was one moment at this age that I remember going outside the castle walls. I was forced to become a Man early, and I wanted to protect those I loved. Though I didn't know I would have accomplished it. This particular day, the Turks had decided to attack the Castle, so the sound of war was loud. Stepping outside, I seen My Father, sword raised and blood smeared across His face. And anger washed over Me, for I thought Him injured. But when I got closer, I realized it wasn't His blood, but His enemies. I froze, cause i'd never seen Him in actual Battle, distracted by this I hadn't seen the Turk, whom was heading for Me, sword raised, until it was to late. But as I raised My head, The male swung His mighty sword, to strike down a child, Me. But as the sword came at Me, My father moved lightning fast. His sword came, the fear danced in my eyes, but then as I expected death, I heard the clank of metal against metal. When I opened My eyes, my fathers blade was an inch before my face and holding back the sword from harming Me. He then looked down at Me, as He gave one mighty kick, throwing the enemy turk away from Me, and with a mighty voice He roared, " Aiden, you must protect Your mother, can You do that. He never would let Me outside the castle during wars, and I feared that He was going to scold Me for doing so but instead, He let me become a Man. Hands moving fast, He tossed Me the sword from His side, and I noticed My Name wielded across the handle and down the blade. He believed in Me, and that was the best Memory I have from the age of 12. “
