hi babes! welcome welcome <3 and ty for the support,, err okay lemme try to explain it as clear as possible, there’s a lot of unwritten rules on tumblr so i understand how confusing it must be 😭 bc i was once a newbie too

okay! so for my tags, i have things such as :

⚔️ ; anonnies , [🧸].hajime baby! etc etc right? mine are pretty standard but some people have really unique tags, such as song lyrics, themed tags (e.g. cafe themes, garden themes, etc) — and they created those tags from scratch, so when they see someone with super similar tags, it’s obvious that that person copied. and it’s really disheartening to see that, just like it’s disheartening to see my writing being plagiarised, because coming up with unique themes take time, and for it to be copied (without credit, too!) feels horrible.

um.. and also i use a very specific way so that some tags won’t show up in recents, so for example when i’m rambling in the tags about iwaizumi, i would write i.waizumi with a period instead so that tumblr wouldn’t save it in the recent tags. previously, i used to use slashes (i/waizumi) but i switched bc it looked a lil messy. a lot of people have adopted this system since then, and uhm i don’t mind really, bc most of em are my friends, but i don’t think most people knew that i created the system shhdjshsj oh well
