September 20, 2019 | Friday Today’s field activity was identifying Mangroves! it was such a head ache, and all of us were bitten by mosquitoes. But all in all, we did have good fun. Throughout the field work, we kept falling into mud crab holes, caught under spider webs and have to walk through unstable wooden bridges (build by the staff at our department bc the gaps were too big to just jump across). Also, one of the mangroves we identified, which is Exoecaria agallocha, can make you blind if the sap enters your eyes.
