Recently started thinking about how the mechanics of the mothers merciful might work. Because we know Dark Sonia was the grandmother at one point in time and some shit happened to her, and (the main thing I've been thinking about) we know what happened to mother trauma when he was stabbed. The fact that he withered like that makes me think that the mothers are somehow frozen in the process of dying or something. But there's also the possibility of that being specific to mother trauma because when Xen introduced him during moonward they said his voice was strange and semi human compared to the other mothers. Idk, there are so many things floating around in my head at this information that I can't get into words
