He was a leader who believed in avoiding making the first strike unless it was absolutely necessary. Antauri had agreed with this decision--after all, these ichthyian warriors surrounding them weren’t the REAL threat, they just a bunch of locals guarding their territory. It just so happened that the caves in their territory had been infested with Skeleton King’s army, unbeknownst to the primitive fish-heads.
