London during Christmas time was different than the rest of the year. It wasnât just the Christmas trees or anything like that. There was just something in the air that made it impossible for him not to grin. Of course, that brilliant smile mightâve been because of the fact that Newt had invited Niall to celebrate with him. He was always happy for a reason to see his friend, especially if it meant celebrating an unfamiliar holiday.
He stretched out next to Newt, wrapped up in his scarf and ran fingers over the leather journal Newt gave him. He was a tactile person by nature, and he couldnât help himself. Plus, it kept him from doing something stupid. Like running his hands through Newtâs hair.

Momentarily distracted from opening his own gift until Niallâs voice rang in his ears as his gaze now lowered to the small box before him.
He listened to him explain it as fingers gently opened up the box to reveal a ring. A design heâd never seen before and his grin widened just a bit. Slender gingers ghosting over the design of it. âI do like it, very much.â He said with a nod of his head. âThank you, Niall. I will treasure this.â He said, pulling him into a quick hug,
