jack wakes up to an interesting surprise.
[fic] [nsfw-ish]
Jack doesn’t know whose hotel room he’s in when he wakes up. It doesn’t smell like his, and the body next to him certainly wasn’t a feature he knew about beforehand. He can barely see when he opens them, and he’s too lazy to turn and look at who’s next to him, so instead he tries racking his brain in remembering what had happened the night before.
It was a shitty party that everyone was involved in, with a lot of alcohol. Probably more alcohol than was needed. And there definitely should’ve been a limit on drinks per person. But he was dragged to go by the Bucks, and that’s when Jack retaliated by drinking until he couldn’t remember his own name.
The body shifts beside him. Whoever it is is snoring, but Jack still doesn’t know who it is. Who did he even talk to, other than the Bucks?
The person rolls over, off of Jack’s arm that he’s just now realizing is numb.
Jack turns over, moving his hand to get feeling again. He can’t tell who it is just by body shape, so he’s forced to sit up to get a proper look at them.
To his complete and utter surprise, Matt Mernard lays next to him, still snoring away.
Jack tries once again to remember what happened, because there’s no way in hell he would’ve slept with him when he knows Danny would actually run him over with his own bus.
He remembers thinking I’m going to drink until someone’s hot enough to make out with. Which isn’t very helpful. Thanks, sober, non-hangover me, he thinks sarcastically, you fucking suck.
Matt turns back to face Jack and yawns, blinking his eyes open. It takes 10 seconds for him to register Jack, and then he screams, flailing so hard he falls off the bed, tugging the whole comforter with him. “What the hell?” he screams. “What are you doing in my room? You damn pervert, get out!”
“I woke up here!” Jack quickly explains. “I don’t know how I got here!”
“Why were you next to me? Did you do something while I was sleeping? I’ll call the cops. I will call the police!” Matt wrestles with the sheets before getting up.
“I didn’t do anything!” Jack insists, getting up off the bed on the other side. “I swear, I don’t remember anything from last night other than that stupid party. I don’t know why I’m here.”
Matt squints at him. “You were at that party?”
“Yes! The Bucks made me go.”
Matt makes a face, and then his eyes widen in slight fear. “What- what were you wearing?”
“What?”
“At the party, what were you wearing?”
Jack looks around, and then picks up his jacket off the floor. “This?”
“Oh my god. Oh, no.” Matt runs his hands down his face. “I thought- oh, god.”
“What? What happened? Did you do something to me?”
“What? No! No, I, I, I thought- I must’ve thought you were like, a girl or something. Last night.”
“A girl.”
“Yeah, you know.” Matt motions randomly. “With like, tits and all that.”
“A girl, with this beard? Are you insane?”
“I don’t know, I was drunk! Fuck, man, I can’t believe I kissed you. I’m gonna have to brush until my gums bleed.”
“You kissed me?”
“Shut up!” Matt yells, face bright red. “I was drunk! And so were you, apparently! You- you came up to me!” He points accusingly.
“What? No, I wouldn’t-“
“You did! You came to me, talking all this, this flirty stuff, and then I kissed you. So this is all your fault!”
“My fault? You’re joking. We’re in your hotel room!”
“Maybe you lost your key, you dumb fuck,” Matt spats. “I don’t know why we’re in my room.”
Jack goes quiet, trying to wrap his brain around this whole thing.
“Please put some clothes on, man,” Matt finally says, “I’m tired of looking at you like this.”
“Why am I naked in the first place?” Jack asks as he starts dressing himself. “You don’t think we…”
“No,” Matt hisses. “No. I absolutely refuse to believe that we did any of that nonsense in here.”
Jack brushes his hair out of his face with a sigh. “Whatever happened in here, never gets spoken of again.”
“Right. Yeah. Of course. And no telling Danny, or I will fucking kill you.”
“Are you kidding? Danny would kill me if I ever told him.”
“I should tell him you attacked me or something. Jesus Christ.”
“I should be the one threatening for outside interference,” Jack scoffs. “I’m leaving now.”
“Good! I don’t wanna see your stupid face ever again! Bye!”
