Sometimes the quiet wins. đż
Itâs been one of those unbearably hot days, packing my backpack and disappearing into the forest for a while. I passed a few ducks and geese before a angry looking cat wandered over and demanded a few scratches. Turns out it was all looks.. it was actually really sweet. After saying goodbye, I finally reached the water, where a refreshing swim was exactly what I needed.
On the way back, I took a different trail than usual, and it was worth it. A deer was quietly grazing in a field, completely at peace. Moments like that remind you to slow down and appreciate the little things.
Now Iâm finally home. Pizza is on the table, and itâs time to relax. đ Iâve been invited into the city tonight where everyoneâs gathering to watch Norway take on England in the quarter final. The atmosphere is supposed to be amazing.
Maybe Iâll go. Maybe Iâll stay in. Weâll see what the night brings. đłđŽâœ But more than likely, I'm fast asleep by then. đŽ
