So, my annual studio cleanup is basically a deep dive into catch-up chaos. Throughout the year, I constantly get wild (distracting 😤) inspirations that I start then am forced to place in trays because my professional schedule is booked about 24 months out at a time and doesn’t leave me much wiggle room. The trays mount and stack -usually about 4 deep- on every flat surface (and much of the floor!) in the entire studio. The trays are handy, because everything is there, waiting for golden moments of time when I can get ahead on something and finish them. Some of these trays have been waiting, patiently calling to me for years, because I got so so sick before my surgery and my energy evaporated. My “cleanup” is both massive organizing, actual cleaning, and an attempt to reduce tray count by finishing up projects that just need a day or two of focus. I have so SO many original pieces ready that I’ll be listing in the next few weeks. Miniatures and cameos will be going up in my Etsy shop, and larger originals (including my Tanith Drawlloween illustrations, Dolls, and Cabinet of Curiosities specimens like these shown) will be going up in my BigCartel on my website. I promise I’ll give sneak peeks and post release times for those of you who have been waiting! #magicbrewing #catchingup #mabgraves #studiocleanup https://www.instagram.com/p/Bt1D4gMHsHy/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=16gqdgj3mjh25
