my mentor is friends with one of the dudes I went to highschool with
ughhhh this song everytime...
Kiley is just a literal angel⦠Iāll never get over this beautiful record!!!
I donāt feel like anything has been the same since 2016 thatās like why I wanted to put this post up. I was like this area of EastEnders between like 2005 to about 2016 and I feel like everything went weird in 2016 and we havenāt been the same since and she hasnāt been the same. But what theyāre trying to do now is theyāre trying to do like the storyline they did with Danielle with Ronnie and itās just not hitting in the same way I guess generation Alpha do not have ļæ¼the same emotions as Millennials. thereās just something missing thereās a massive spark missing on these things like the magic just isnāt there anymore of certain things certain seeing certain acting cause years ago Dennis and Sharon and Dennis episode that was just them but that acting together was phenomenal and you could tell that by them just working together on their own. Itās like the magicās gone someone had put they didnāt know who these past characters were. That was a very good episode when Nigel sees things from his past like his ex-wife Barry and Pat and Young Phil and Grant and lots of people online didnāt know who any of these people are so Iām definitely showing my age here at this point but they all know about the Danielle even though like Pat was in there at that time somebody else was saying online that someone believed in Saint Clement died in real life, but I donāt remember that they were calling it a Mandela effect which it definitely wasnāt to me. I only remember Peggy and obviously June Brown dying as well being Dot Cotton but yeah thereās something gone in the world the Magicās gone itās slowly coming back and we will come back and it will be better and weāll be fighting fit so yeah something is happening with the writing. I feel like EastEnders. This does cameos now just like everything else bring back the magic people we can do it. We can do it together. We can do it as a team.
But someone said the Roxy and Ronnie were killed off. I never watched it that far thatās why I stopped watching. I started watching again at the beginning of 2023 and to be honest with you I havenāt found any of it that interesting everyone says bring back the old writer, but I feel like he was worse, but itās not his fault because he obviously got picked up at really bad time in life in real life but nothingās like Simon Ashdown and John York look into these old episodes people watch ones from the 90s I do I was born in 1990 and I watched the old ones you really have to watch other characters development if you wanna watch ones from the past as well I spent most of my time doing it because I donāt have a job Iām signed off sick and I enjoy writing about it and making videos around it because I didnāt really grow up in a community that was like that I grew up more lower middle class. I love these kinds of programs where everyone knows how to talk to each other.. bring back Barry from the Dad please cause I really like Sean Williamson ļæ¼and in real life. so here is a story for you here once open for the Mike agree who plays Frank Butcher who played Frank Butcher heās obviously not with us anymore. Heās not that funny as stand-up back gave us. I donāt even bother watching it but Sean got told off by him for almost being more funny and he wasnāt joking even though heās like really funny in real life.. heās nothing like Barry or maybe he is behind closed doors but also my grid had something really horrible happened to him while he was on EastEnders. I think his son set himself on fire and died and then his grandchild died not long after so we obviously had a lot of trauma in real life and was able to tap into that as an actor.. I just miss a really good acting really good quality of things and itās magic being gone. I wonder what we will get as this Christmas episode today happy Christmasļæ¼ š everyone.

Marvel thoughts
It's incredibly upsetting to me that I no longer feel excited and happy when the next Marvel project comes about. The public and the fans have been let down so many times, it's basically become a joke now. I don't even feel excited if my favourites come back (Doctor Strange, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Loki) because of the way other superheroes have had their characters butchered or turned into a joke (Thor, Banner, Nick Fury Wanda). I know already The Marvels is going to suck. I'm not holding my hopes up for Loki s02, and poor Blade has been delayed for so long, I fear that it won't turn out great either. The magic has well and truly gone. š¢
Petal Comes to Rough Trade NYC with Sir Babygirl and Cave People
Inspired by the likes of Death Cab for Cutie and Pedro the Lion, Kiley Lotz has been performing and recording as Petalāworking with a rotating cast of bandmatesāever since forming the soulful, melancholic band six years ago in Scranton, Pa. The groupās debut long-player, Shame (stream it here), came out in 2015. āHer imagery is rich and often moves like poetry, knowing just when to slip out of sense into a region that feels blurred and indefinite, yet true to the lived experience of love and panicāall this atomic activity beneath an otherwise placid surface,ā said Pitchfork. āThe lingering quality of Shame:Ā Lotzās ability to translate the imprecision of a kiss, the quality of a streetlight, the decay of a shadow into a memory so powerful it consumes everything. Shame is an album of preserved traces, of things that were.ā Lotz has since left for New York City and then moved back to central Pennsylvania, and she returned last June with the second Petal studio album, the raw, personal Magic Gone (stream it here). āListen carefully, because littered throughout are moments that appear throwaway but are truthfully priceless,ā raved the Line of Best Fit. āLotz knows how to craft her work, using every moment to her advantage resulting in an album thatās an absolute indie-emo masterpiece.ā Currently touring the country, Petal headlines Rough Trade NYC on Friday night, with Sir Babygirl and Cave People opening the show.
Tfw you meet one of your favorite artists for the second time and youāre super nervous because the first time you talked to her was after you heard her for the first time as an opening act and you were like āwow ur so good Iām gonna listen to ur stuff nowā and now youāre like āUH, HI, STARDUST MAKES ME CRYā why am I so shy and awkward and horrible. Anyway. @petal_pa killed it and sheās super talented and gracious and nice and you should all be fans ok
