Whoever is drawing backgrounds at TRIGGER is a huge Guillermo del Toro nerd. Hellboy’s Right Left Hand of Doom is kind of obvious, but I am more impressed with the gold scarab amulet from the much more obscure del Toro Spanish-language movie Cronos. Deep cut!
Also Mjorlir is in the foreground, but we already knew that Akko is a Marvel nerd.

In Beetle's Bauble instead of cat cafes you got the novelty of Elephantea parlors. Enchanted pots saunter and wiggle about making little whistles and pips from their spouts as they fill your cups. -M
