hiccup cure now 3 for 3
something I didn’t notice on my first read-through of Thistlefoot is how the repercussions of Isaac not using his powers are a lot more fleshed out early on than the powers themselves
that choice really encapsulates the soul of their magic - it’s a survival mechanism, encouraging him to hide and run away like his ancestors had to in the pogrom, to not get stuck in the same town like the people in the shtetl
I KNOW HIM HAVING LONG ANTENNAE KINDA IS A HUGE PROBLEM but on ths other hand
Prebby:)
maybe they can grown over time 😌
i think the same would happen with his scales, they would get a lot brighter and more ✨shiney✨ (irradescent! thats the word i was thinking of!) to be more like an exoskeleton!
over time the little feather like things on the end of his antennae grown downwards, spreading across, while his antennae grow in length at the same time :D
Do magic books taste any different than regular books?

The magic would not hold. Intent is a large part of magic, after all. I suppose that is unless you were trying to make some kind of hybrid then... *he trails off for a moment, thinking* Anyway, yes you must understand the object. That’s not to say you must know it’s atomic structure or anything. But understand it. It’s feel, shape, color, taste—if applicable. Et cetera, et cetera, et cetera. I do believe you get the picture. *his hand searches for hers along the rim of the tub, wanting contact with his beloved*
—Loki
*she watches with interest - taking his hand when it nears her, pressing a lasting kiss to each of his knuckles* That all makes sense, yes. So is magic limited to the senses? Your perception of an object is paramount to what you can do with it. If you could not see, smell, or feel an object, any sort of spell cast upon it will be flawed - or outright fail? I-I hope these questions don’t bother you. I’m, actually enjoying this a lot.. Your voice is so beautiful and soothing. *she smiles - it’s audible in her voice, the happiness she feels*
zukka with the witch and familiar trope. i can’t decide if i want zuko to be the witch with sokka as his dog familiar, or sokka to be the witch with zuko as his cat familiar.
