Day 9: It’s been a little over a year since I’ve been to this spot. With no kin spirit to come with me it felt pointless. I remember the day I put myself in your paws. I remember blue skies and the wind in my hair with nothing but the sound of our feet hitting dirt to fill the air. We had gone further than before and the city looked beautiful from the top of that hill. You sniffed around and wandered off and instead of calling you back I followed. On the other side we saw some strange agricultural structure. It had been there for years, obviously abandoned. You looked at me with curious eyes and tilted your head. I said “Ok.” and we were gone. Running, almost flying, gravity taking a hold of us. Just the two of us, no care in the world. Only the feeling of Nature’s Wild Freedom.
