»Books weren't really his thing. Most everything wasnât really his thing, to be honest, but thatâs neither here nor there. He did, however enjoy paying his friends a visit at their place of employment. The term âfriendsâ used loosely here, as the particular young man in question that we was stopping by to check in on was in fact simply a frequent customer of Samsonâs place of employment. But that still probably counted as a friend.
Thatâs kind of where he knew most everyone he knew, come to think of it.Â
So, the kid (he calls anyone whoâs not at least in their 30âČs a kid) stops by for a drink every once and while and to shoot the breeze. They learned a few basic things about each other, nothing too sacred like lifelong kept secrets or something like that. The male didnât seem to like talking about himself much. However, he did eventually tell him that he works part-time at the local library. It was on the way, and the least Samson could do is check out where he works, right? Tit for tat, or however that goes?
»Yeah, he definitely didnât like libraries. The silence was nerve-wracking; if you strained your ears hard enough, you could probably hear someoneâs heart beating. Gross. Thank God he spotted the chestnut-haired man before he sped-walked out of there, instead comically slinking over to him in a sneaky manner.
â Pssst, hey! D! You guys carry any rated-R material around here? â  A wink and a nudge of the elbow in the other maleâs side, his own voice was certainly not low enough for a libraries standards.
