Magama and Indigo were Tootie’s Fairy Godparents. They were assigned to her shortly after her birthday, where Timmy leant her his own fairies, and unassigned from her when she won the Tour de France while keeping Poof (disguised as a soccer ball) safe, which I like to think won her a full ride scholarship somewhere, giving her a happy life away from her terrifying older sister and neglectful parents.

Magama and Indigo were originally conceived to be sort of knock-offs of Cosmo and Wanda, who were closer to what Fairy Godparents are SUPPOSED to be. They’re loving, sure, but in a sort of sly, doing their job kind of way. Magama is a fun-loving party girl who gives her godkids everything their hearts desire, and Indigo is a smooth-talking, very put-together used car salesman type who is slightly more grounded than his somewhat wild wife.

Anti-Magama, by contrast, is a strict office lady who values rules, while her husband Anti-Indigo is a shy and somewhat disheveled sailor-type who helps run a lighthouse-esque structure in anti-fairy world. She tells him what to do, and he helps her loosen up at times.

When word got out that there was a loophole in the fairy baby ban, Magama and Indigo were quick to take advantage of it, convincing Tootie that having a little sibling of her own would help her overcome the trauma her own older sister put her through. Tootie agreed, not necessarily because she desperately wanted a sister of her own, but because she wanted her fairy godparents to be happy.

When Stella was born, Magama and Indigo were overjoyed, and Tootie was indeed a very loving and protective older sister for the brief time she got to be part of this family.

When Allets was born, Anti-Magama and Anti-Indigo were taken off-guard, but determined to be attentive parents and give their child a good life against all odds.
