WHATS WRONG WITH JON'S FACE???????

it hadn't hit me before exactly how alone Jon was throughout the whole show. this becomes painfully obvious in s2, yes, but even in other seasons, even when people are concerned about him, they still seem to keep him at arm's length. this applies to Martin as well, even in s5, but that's a topic for another time. for now, it just hits really hard that Jon's choices become increasingly limited as time goes on, and this is partly due to the isolation that was forced upon him. which isn't to say that the outcome wouldn't have been the same if he'd had more (or any) support, but it adds to the personal tragedy of it.
