All of your muses have been put on semi hiatus!

Sabriel woke up. This was a new experience for her. She hadn’t ever woken up before, not in any of her countably infinite years of existence. As such, she savored the experience, taking several minutes to open her eyes, stretch lethargically, and look around. 

And then it dawned on her that she was not at her desk. She was not, even, by the looks of it, in any part of the Auditing Consortium. That was also a first, and it put her on edge. What made her all the more worried was that she knew for a  fact that the proper paperwork had not been filed. She could sense it, sense that this was against at least 32,549 regulations, and that this was the sort of debacle someone could well lose their job over. 

Walking out of the room with the keycard that had been so generously provided her (without, of course, a liability waiver, a company regulation instruction manual, or any of the paperwork that ought to be used for switching a piece of equipment between departments.), she pulled a form and a pen out of her pocket, filling it in without even looking at it. 

Georgina had been unsure at first, but now she was certain. It had started as a sneaking suspicion, rising as she wandered the halls, but now it was a certainty. She did not like this place.

She had explored all around the various rooms. She had met several individuals and attempted to question them about where they were. She had received a variety of responses but the overall answer had been the same. No-one knew where they were nor how they had gotten here. No-one knew why either.

As to the building itself, it was rather substandard. The place was dingy and slightly smelly in places. There were no doors nor windows to the outside world. It felt like some kind of prison, but there were no cameras. Strange.

Georgina felt that what she really needed was a drink. Returning to the kitchen she made herself some tea. Just as she found a seat in the dining area she froze.

Georgina woke up. This surprised her since she didn’t remember going to sleep. The last thing she remembered was fighting some giant daemon snake thing alongside ancient Chinese warriors. Definitely one of the weirder dimensions she had found herself in. This new one had a comfortable bed beneath her.

She sat up and took stock of her new surroundings. The room was small, with three beds, three bedside cabinets and a wardrobe. Finally there was a large desk with a computer on it.

Georgina walked over to the computer and turned it on. She had discovered that you could learn a lot about a civilization from its’ technology. Unfortunately this particular computer could only play that terrible snake game. And Georgina was tired of snakes. It didn’t look like this dimension was terribly advanced.

Only then did it occur to Georgina to check what she was wearing. She found herself in a pink corsetted dress, with black stockings covering her legs, flat black shoes which were comfortable to walk in and finally a black choker. It was almost identical to her combat dress from her homeworld. For a moment she dared hope that she had finally found her way home.

Sadly it was not so. She could feel magical energy around her, but it was different from that of her home. For starters, she couldn’t access it. No healing, no enhancements and no elemental magic would work. She had been to worlds without magic before though so she was used to it, but if magic existed then maybe there were others who could use it. And without her healing spells or any form of armour she felt dangerously exposed.

Checking the table next to her bed she found a small knife. It wasn’t much, but it was something. Inspecting the other beds she noted that they had also recently been slept in. So there were other people here. Whether potential allies or enemies however, was unknown.

Name: Georgina

Gender: Female

Species: Human

Species Description: Basic Human

Height: 5 foot 3

Looks: Petite figure, very slim. While not particularly large her muscles are well defined. Her eyes are a very dark grey, almost black. Her facial features are small, with a childlike quality. Her should-length hair is black and straight.

Personality: She is a mute. She doesn’t like wasting time. She treats everything like a battle, where she prefers to rush in without thinking and hit stuff until it breaks. Because of her inability to talk she often gets frustrated with people not understanding her. However, she gets bored easily and doesn’t pay attention. She glares at people a lot. Her favourite colours are pink and black and she has a thing for pretty dresses. Thanks in part to her aforementioned mutism, she tends to gesture a lot. She shows little emotion on her face, neither joy nor sadness really seem to affect her. Due to her dimension-hopping shenanigans she tries not to get close to people. This refusal to form attachments applies to objects as well as people. Despite this she still retains her sense of justice, doggedly refusing to allow wrongs to go unpunished.

Backstory: When she was young she always yearned for adventure, but her hometown was known more for making wine. At a young age she and her best friend were climbing trees when they were attacked by a giant wasp. With her friend in danger, Georgina jumped out of the tree straight onto the wasps’ back. While this did kill the wasp, it had left its’ stinger inside Georgina’s throat. Fortunately it had missed any major arteries but it did destroy her voicebox. Many years later she and her friend found themselves on an actual adventure, wherein she practiced swordfighting, learned ancient secrets, gained magical powers and saved the world. before she could return to her life she was sucked into a strange energy vortex. Ever since then she has found herself being transported from one realm to the next. Every new realm is always in some great danger. Every time she saves a realm she is transported to another to begin a new adventure.

background on character’s universe: Pretty standard fantasy world. Only it also includes a handful of people who can turn into giant creatures called Knights. They stand about 15 feet tall and appear to be made of armour.

Other Important Details: Nothing much. Has visited many worlds so she has a lot of experience with swordfighting.

Powers (Very Detailed): Georgina has become a very skilled magic user. She knows many spells that strengthen herself or her team-mates. She also has a few spells which can grant her weapon an elemental affinity. Most importantly she took the time to heavily focus on restorative magic.

Weapon of Choice: Very large katana. Seriously, this thing’s about six feet long, four feet of which is the blade.
