From the get-go, Salvatore had no intention of meeting Tony in a professional setting. He feels, to the very bottom of his soul, that something traditional and quiet as that just wouldn’t be worth it. His thoughts are all reflective of the matter he doesn’t care for those who are young with power. Time and time again, Sal has seen how they’re too allured, too busy stroking their cock to think of actual business.

       And so, he deliberately scheduled this time -- 12:30 PM -- for their meeting. This is a time where Sal is out for his ‘lunch,’ which naturally places Tony in a public setting, whether the boy knows it or not. Sal thinks this is a beneficial setting, though. With all the heat on him right now for this restaurant fiasco, Tony doesn’t need a camera snapping shots of him heading inside Lombardi Construction. Being caught at a hot dog vendor is far more harmless. 

       “Tony my boy!!” Sal exclaims at the sight of him approaching. “You won’t believe my luck!” With that, he’s now frowning and looking like the saddest man in all Manhattan. “I couldn’t find my keys this morning so I had to give that Uber thing a try. And never again.” This he states sternly, jerking his arm in a slicing fashion. “I wound up with a real prick.” 

      “Then all day long, the guys in there are breaking my balls.” Sal eyes the building behind him in disdain, “So I thought I’d step out ‘fore you got here and get some ice cream.”

“Hey...Hey! ¡Mírame!” Calisto whisper-yelled, standing up from his post and outstretching his arms. “What do you think you’re doing?” It’s bad enough that he had concerned citizens stopping him every five seconds, asking him if he was going to kill the raccoon-- no! He’d never do that! His ‘scary-looking rifle’ was a dart gun and he was nothing more than a civil servant attempting to relocate the animal. But nooo, every uppity vegan made their way to his side to start preaching to him. This is why he hates calls to the suburbs.

HE PAUSES momentarily, a hand coming to touch the RAZOR thin slice across his cheek for a second, SCARLET dripping from it to his fingers as he lets out a heavy sigh in response before running a hand across his face with silent frustration on his expression.

“The goods are at the back, darling.”

She tapped her cigarette with her finger, the ashes falling  to the tray below. Virginia was good at being discreet, and she made sure to look like it was fruits being delivered to the restaurant. She had paid a corrupt police officer as well to make sure nothing would come in the way of her delivery.

Everybody knew they could trust Virginia; she had a knack for acting stupid when it came to being interrogated by goody-two-shoes officers, throwing them off the scent of the underworld’s dealings. She turned to look at Tony, and in a rare moment, relaxed. It was always like this around him; there was always an easy feeling she did not feel with other people. She knew he could always be trusted.
