A red scene on a rainy day
It was pouring heavily outside, and I came home cold and drenched from the rain. I took a warm bath and changed into clean clothes. I entered the room that I shared with my husband. I stared at the ceiling while lying in bed. The red scene that I've just created was still vivid. The voices of my victims' pleas and cries of agony start to play in my mind. The sight of blood and didn't scare me. My emotions remained the same as I fired my guns. There was no hesitation when I used my dagger on them. I sometimes come home with blood splattered on my clothes. Every time my husband saw fresh wounds and cuts on me, he'd frown and let out a sigh while also adjusting his glasses as he looked at me and said,
" Please be more careful. I don't want to see any more injuries on yourself". I didn't listen. I always found ways to hide them from my husband. But whenever the scent of blood hits his nose, he'll start to search me from head to toe; and once he finds out about them, I'm in big trouble. I woke up the next day all worn-out and feeling sore down south. As I head downstairs, I am greeted by my husband preparing breakfast. " Good morning, beautiful. I'm surprised that you're up early even after what we did last night". I blushed at his statement and tried to get back at him. " I do not wake up late. And besides, you would probably punish me for doing so".
I heard a chuckle from my husband. " Indeed I would.", he said. I giggled at his statement. As I turned to face him, he placed his hand gently on my cheek. " I love you. Don't go anywhere. I don't want to see you get hurt", he said. My tears started to fall silently on my cheeks as I hugged him. I do not wish to leave your side. But my enemies are everywhere, waiting and looking for an opportunity to attack me. I know what it is like to lose someone, and I do not want to lose you.

Later that night, I was awoken upon receiving the details about my next assignment. I quietly get out of bed and kiss my husband on his head. I got into my uniform and prepared my weapons. The expression on my face suddenly became blank as I closed the door quietly and went to the location of my next assignment.
