Rule 4: Message them to let them know…
Answers:
1. If you could talk to only one type of animal, which one would it be and why?
Probably birds. They seem really smart to me. And if they don't turn out to be, then they'd still probably have a lot to say. Plus they're everywhere.
2. If you could only see in shades of one color, which would it be?
Blue. That's not even my favorite color, but everything I wear is blue and RHAPSODY IN BLUE and tumblr is blue
3. You get a phone call at 2 a.m. that gets you out of bed and driving across town. Who is it from/what does the caller say to get you out of bed?
"Dude Jimmy Fallon is at this Ben and Jerry's"
4. What’s a smell that reminds you of a memory, and what is the memory?
I don't really associate smells with anything, I don't think. I just like it or I don't.
5. If you were an inanimate object, which would it be?Â
I don't know, maybe a pencil. That wishes it had a bigger eraser.
6. What’s your favorite story about you and your best friend?
[Best] friend questions always catch me off guard because I can't really point anyone out as a [Best] Friend?? ? a) It's hard for me to label relationships unless it's like... blood relations and b) friendships are hard and I'm not good at things that are hard why do
7. If you could live anywhere, where would it be and why?
London, probably. I love the public transport system there and book stores there are like Starbucks here and English and pounds sterling and the parks there are gorgeous and huge and there's a lot of things to do in a small amount of space and it's breezy and the candy and I think I fell in love with that city. It just seems like somewhere you can be alone while not being alone, but not in a creepy way, like in an immersed way? Like you could find a park bench, sit down and write or read or listen to music or whatever. It's like they took an American-style urban center, set it in the middle of Europe and let it take up roots and grow in that kind of environment. It's a hybrid, and duality is one of my favorite things.
I love it in California, though. Maybe somewhere closer to LA but not in LA, though, where it's quieter and a little... safer. San Diego or Pasadena.
8. If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
Superpowers are such double edged swords. Maybe super-empathy, because I think it's easier to interact and connect with the world (and the people that live on it) the more you understand it. And then there's the advantage with writing, acting, etc. etc. But then I think about Will Graham, and I think I would stay far, far away from criminology.
9. Would you rather be able to fly or teleport?
I think between these two the choice kind of fluctuates, because I think the feeling of flying would be awesome, but then the idea of teleportation? is so, so cool. So probably teleportation, since I wouldn't have to deal with doors after landing, or getting tired from flying.
(I just really, really want a universe with teleport machines. As much as I love the mechanics of engines, the world would probably be so much better of a place with teleport machines. Wow I could go on for hours about teleport machines. The possible engineering behind it?? Regulations/laws pertaining to teleportation? How risky it would be to use them? How far could you go? etc. etc. etc.)
10. What’s your biggest fear?
Rape. It's kind of a crippling fear. I feel like I can't go anywhere because of it and the paranoia really pisses me off. It's just disgusting and horrible and there are literally not enough negative adjectives in the entirety of all vocabularies put together to describe it and I hate when there's mentions of it anywhere it just kind of makes me angry-lightheaded and angry-panicked and no that is a big NO
11. What do you like most about yourself?
Nothing unless I've worked my ass off for it. I'm proud of what I've done, not really who I am. Not at all who I am.
(I also like where I am fandom-wise at the moment, like what I'm exposing myself to at this point in time. It's art and innovation and it means something. But those are the accomplishments of other people that I admire.)
(I've also written a fic or two that I'm really proud of) (wink)
Ok so
